I have a fiduciary responsibility to help clients understand the blending of diverse asset classes so their money can last a lifetime and beyond.
What happens today is many clients (especially in retirement) are suffering the effects of too many cooks in the kitchen providing advice based on their own biases. In many situations, the client is sitting there wondering who exactly is looking out for their best interest.

I have worked with people in the accumulation, retirement and estate planning phases of their lives. My guidance may be limited to a particular problem or be a comprehensive plan. I'm licensed to work with clients in both securities and insurance planning.
Common issues I work with include: Tax preparation, social security benefits planning, and proper investment mix for personal and work savings plans. I also review insurance needs so families have properly structured protection. I focus on listening to the client's concerns, then provide a clear set of recommendations. My commitment to a high degree of customer service is the foundation of over 30 years of successful results for my clients.
I am a founding member of Redhawk Wealth Advisors, Inc., of Edina, MN, and its predecessor firm, Hunt and Strom Financial. I now run Strom Financial, a client consulting and tax preparation firm. I have been in the financial services industry since 1981, totaling thirty-six years. I earned the Certified Financial Planner designation in June of 1984. I taught insurance and securities licensing courses to new agents and brokers for twenty years. Additionally, I taught financial planning and 401(k) concepts for major corporations, including AT&T, Ford, The Naval Federal Credit Union, Lucent and Con Edison. I am currently an active financial planner, tax preparer and investment advisor. I was recently awarded the Registered Fiduciary designation, enabling me to perform at the highest standards of planning and advisory services for individuals, families and 401(k) plans.
